Daryl Hannah, Roy Scheider, Eric Roberts and Sean Young have been cast in Dark Honeymoon, an indie about a man who discovers horrible things about his new bride. Like, she doesn't really enjoy Smallville.... Per Variety, Woody Harrelson will fill the title role in The Walker, playing an escort to high-society dames. The cast includes Kristin Scott Thomas, Lauren Bacall, Lily Tomlin and Eric Roberts Willem Dafoe.

Surprisingly — or not? — the American Family Association, which has smote irreverent series dating back to Charlie's Angels, is taking issue with the new NBC drama The Book of Daniel (premiering Jan. 6), in which Aidan Quinn plays a clergyman with a colorful clan and who, by the way, occasionally chats with Jesus (played by Garrett Dillahunt). AFA biggwig Rev. Donald Wildmon slams Quinn's character for being a "drug-addicted Episcopal priest whose wife depends heavily on her midday martinis," takes issue with (shocker alert) the show's portrayal of homosexuals, and pegs the drop-ins by Jesus as "very unconventional." Wildmon's obviously a Willem Dafoe loyalist.

In last summer's Spider-Man, James Franco played Harry, the troubled son of wealthy industrialist Nathan Osbourne aka the Green Goblin aka Willem Dafoe. Harry's back — and nastier than before — in Spider-Man 2. But die-hard fans of the Spidey comic books are scratching their heads. Isn't the Osbourne heir supposed to avenge his late, insane father by following in Gobby's footsteps? On that scary flying sled, we mean.
"There's some confusion," Franco says. "There's a Hobgoblin in the comics who isn't Harry Osbourne. The second Green Goblin is Harry Osbourne. And there's been a setup since the first film for my character [to be evil]. But we had the Green Goblin in the first film, and I really don't think it's smart to repeat that."
So whatever they have Franco doing in Spider-Man 3, he says, "It's gonna be different. I don't think I'll fly."
