Sons of Anarchy: Walton Goggins Tells Us About That Kiss

Guess who's back?

Tuesday's episode of Sons of Anarchy featured the return of Venus Van Dam, the transgender escort played by Justified's Walton Goggins in each of the FX drama's last two seasons. But this time things went to a whole new level.

Sons of Anarchy: Walton Goggins on playing the softer side of Venus Van Dam

When Jax (Charlie Hunnam) needed to track down the wife of a preacher the club had killed, he called on Venus to help. (Turns out the dead man was one of Venus' frequent clients.) According to Goggins, coming back for Sons' final season was a no-brainer. "I look for any opportunity to put on high heels honestly," Goggins tells TVGuide.com with a laugh....read more

Sons of Anarchy's Final Ride: Jax No Longer Cares About Being the Good Guy

On a sunny mid-July day on the Sons of Anarchy's North Hollywood set, there's a lot of people talking about the end. And, surprisingly for a show this bloody, they're not talking about death.

That's because, come November, the cameras will stop rolling for good and the bikers of FX's highest-rated drama of all time will ride off — sunset TBD — for the final time. Many have put thinking about the end of the series out of their minds. "I think everyone is in a healthy state of denial," Katey Sagal says with a laugh

Well, not everyone. "I've been having some pangs of sadness and also kind of panic," star Charlie Hunnam says...read more

Question: I have never been a fan of Two and a Half Men (tried to watch it years ago, but the only thing I found funny was Conchata Ferrell) and never understood how it has stayed on the air for so long. I saw that creator Chuck Lorre is planning on the main storyline next season to be about the two main characters (Walden and Alan, both heterosexual) "marrying" each other in order for Walden to achieve his goal of adopting a child. To me, I find this appalling on so many levels. Gay men and women (and their straight allies) have fought for so long for equal marriage rights, so having two straight men "marry" just seems like a mockery for those fighting for marriage equality. I am a little ashamed of Lorre even coming up with this idea (particularly as his biggest star, Jim Parsons, on his biggest show, The Big Bang Theory, is gay). Your thoughts? — Tim in Atlanta

Question: What do you think of the "Uprising" arc in the second half of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s first season? I think it is miles better than the first half of this season, which was pretty so-so at times. [Spoilers ahead] The tie-in with Captain America: The Winter Soldier, with Hydra infiltrating S.H.I.E.L.D. and Agent Garrett being revealed as the Clairvoyant working for Hydra, were very good plot twists, along with Agent Ward being a turncoat to work for Agent Garrett and Hydra — or could Ward be going undercover for Agent Coulson to help S.H.I.E.L.D. bring down Hydra? I really hope this show gets renewed for a second season by ABC, so that it will continue to improve and be a better show that everyone can enjoy to watch! - Chris

Postmortem: Justified Boss Answers Burning Questions, Teases Final Season Showdown

[WARNING: The following story contains spoilers from the Season 5 finale of Justified. Read at your own risk.]

As Justified finales go, the Season 5 capper wasn't nearly as bloody as its predecessors.

Sure, there was a massive shootout between the marshals and the drug cartel that wanted to skin Boyd Crowder (Walton Goggins) alive. But our usually trigger-happy hero Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant) never fired his sidearm.

Justified Postmortem: Is Ava the New Prison Queen?

[WARNING: The following story contains spoilers from Tuesday's episode of Justified. Read at your own risk.]

On Tuesday's JustifiedAva Crowder took control of her own destiny.

After weeks of sitting behind bars waiting for Boyd (Walton Goggins) to come to her rescue and being manipulated by others in the prison's power structure, Ava (Joelle Carter) made two bold moves.  The first (and most heartbreaking) involved her basically breaking up with Boyd, telling her fiancé that, for now, she had to go it alone.

Question: Justified is the very best cable has to offer. It is well written and the actors seem to have been born to play those characters. I cannot believe how you can love and hate a person at the same time, but with Boyd (Walton Goggins), that is the way it is. Raylan (Timothy Olyphant) is the good/bad guy that women want to love and men want to kill or the very least knock out! Please tell me that Art (Nick Searcy) and Raylan are going to end as friends. Raylan and Art were more than friends by the second season and I would hate to think Art would distance himself from Raylan because he did not intervene when Nicky Augustine got his just desserts! — Ann
