Ask Matt: Elementary, Selfie's Fallen Star, Murder, Sleepy Hollow, Sons of Anarchy, and More

Ophelia Lovibond, Jonny Lee Miller

Question: I've been a fan of Elementary, and I really liked the story arc last season with Rhys Ifans playing Mycroft. His involvement with Watson, moving to New York, opening the restaurant, concealing from everyone that he was MI6: The whole season seemed to give a fresh twist to the Sherlock history and move it forward. This season, however, with Kitty (Ophelia Lovibond), I'm not getting what the writers are doing. I think she's beyond boring, probably because she has no real reason to be there, and she's splintering the energy I used to feel between Sherlock and Watson, and each of them to Bell and Gregson. None of the episodes this year has grabbed me. Is it just me? Do they have a story arc buried in there someplace I can't see? I'd rather they go back to a crime-of-the-week if they can't do better than this. I love your column, by the way! I can't believe how long it took me to find it, but now I never miss it. — Kay

How to Get Away with Murder: Is Rebecca Too Obvious to Be Sam's Killer?

Katie Findlay

Sam's killer will finally be revealed on Thursday's How to Get Away with Murder fall finale (10/9c, ABC). But to hear Katie Findlay tell it, the "who" is less important than, well, the WTF.

"I think what shocked a lot of us about the way things played out was the actual nuts and bolts of it," Findlay tells TVGuide.com. "What ends up happening is very different than what people are thinking. The actual process of how Sam ends up where he ends up is messy and it takes a lot more than one person making weird calls. It's complex. I'm telling you, really and truly, the process ...

Question: Thanks for being the voice of reason in the sometimes crazy cluttered world of TV. You're the only person I trust to tell me if I'm overreacting. Because I'm starting to think Shonda Rhimes is getting away with murder. I have been watching her newest "TGIT" hit How To Get Away With Murder, and I realized the other day that it's always sitting in my DVR waiting for me. That's usually the first sign for me that something is not right. I feel like I should love the show. ... read more

How to Get Away with Murder's Liza Weil: Everything Is Going to Change Between Bonnie and Annalise

Liza Weil

Who killed Sam on How to Get Away with Murder? According to Liza Weil's unscientific — and unsolicited — poll, Bonnie did.

"I know that a lot of people think it's Bonnie and it's funny," Weil tells TVGuide.com with a laugh. "I have people from my past that I haven't spoken to [lately] or have lost touch with and I've been getting emails from them that just say, 'I think that you did it.' People just feel a real need to reach out to me and let me know that they think I'm the murderer! It's exciting and it's really fun to be part of something where there are theories and it can change week to week."

8 bubble shows: Which new shows are in danger?

That will likely change again after Thursday's episode (10/9c, ABC), which picks up right where last week's episode left off, seconds after Bonnie revealed ...
