This was a pilot for a proposed anthology story of eerie tales. David McCallum played a mad scientist who can manipulate time - as well as life and death. The pilot version of this episode had a different ending in which the guest star Vera Miles guns down McCallum who, in THE OUTER LIMITS episode escapes in his machine. Guest stars included Scott Marlowe, Barbara Rush and Sir Cedric Hardwick.
