Which SNL Alums Returned for the Season Finale with Andy Samberg?

Bill Hader, Seth Meyers and Andy Samberg

Saturday marked the Season 39 finale of Saturday Night Live, but you would have never known it from the episode itself, which boasted best sketches that relied mostly on guest stars who were fixtures on previous seasons.

With Andy Samberg hosting, the blasts from the past continued with appearances by Bill Hader, Seth Meyers, Maya Rudolph, Martin Short, Kristen Wiig and Fred Armisen. We were shocked not to see a duet from Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.

Highlights included a hilarious cold open lampooning the Solange-Jay Z-Beyonce Elevator Incident, the return of the Kissing Family, and not one, but two digital shorts. Check out the night's best sketches below:

Saturday Night Live: Girls Star Lena Dunham Gets Naked

Lena Dunham

Girls star Lena Dunham made her Saturday Night Live hosting debut Saturday, but she wasn't the only celebrity guest to stop by. Liam Neeson, Jon Hamm and former cast member Fred Armisen also made cameos in what was overall a mediocre episode.

Louis C.K. to host SNL

Dunham predictably addressed the rampant nudity and graphic sex in Girls, both in her so-so monologue and in a hilarious parody of the Garden of Eden story. Did anyone honestly think Dunham could get through the entire episode without showing some skin? This hilarious trailer for "Girl," a new movie about Adam and Eve, features great impersonations of Dunham's co-stars Adam Driver and Zosia Mamet by Taran Killam and Vanessa Bayer. Take a look:

Jonah Hill and Leonardo DiCaprio

Jonah Hill returned to Saturday Night Live this weekend to host the show for the third time, and his opening monologue featured a hilarious cameo from his Wolf of Wall Street co-star (and, apparently, mentor) Leonardo DiCaprio.

Other highlights from the episode included a couple of sketches about the upcoming Winter Olympics in Sochi, and the much-welcomed return of Vanessa Bayer and Cecily Strong's former porn stars-turned-infomercial representatives. Check out some of the night's best segments below:

Drake Hosts Saturday Night Live: What Were the Best Sketches?

Drake

Saturday Night Live welcomed Drake this weekend as host and musical guest on its first offering of 2014 and also gave new cast member Sasheer Zamata a chance to shine — even though the episode certainly wasn't one of the better installments from this season.

Despite his recent musical success, the Degrassi alum proved he's still got more than a few acting chops to show off, gamely doing impressions of everyone from Lil' Wayne to a dorky dad at a slumber party. Check out some of the highlights from the episode below:

Saturday Night Live: How Did Josh Hutcherson Do as Host?

Josh Hutcherson, Vanessa Bayer

Catching Fire may be igniting the box office, but unfortunately Josh Hutcherson failed to light even a spark on Saturday Night Live this weekend. Perhaps the writers checked out early for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, but whatever the reason, this weekend's episode can be filed under "dud." The show went for the bizarre this week, and some sketches worked (Vanessa Bayer dressed as a turkey), while others flopped (Beck Bennett as an office manager who has the body and mannerisms of a baby). Check out some of the better ones below:

Miley Cyrus Spoofs Government Shutdown, VMA Performance on Saturday Night Live

Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus did plenty of singing on Saturday Night Live this week, but thankfully left the twerking at home for the most part. Acting as both host and musical guest, Cyrus skewered the government shutdown in one sketch and parodied her infamous performance at the MTV Video Music Awards in another. She also performed her single "Wrecking Ball" (with clothes on) and an acoustic version of "We Can't Stop." Check out highlights from SNL below. How do you think Cyrus did as host?
