Top Videos: OITNB Takes Over Conan, "Apparently" Boy, Giant Beer Pong with Nina Dobrev

This week, members of the Orange Is the New Black cast took over Conan for an episode, and it was glorious. Also, a farmer serenaded a team of cows with a trombone rendition of Lorde's "Royals," and the Internet found a new celebrity in "Apparently Boy." Taylor Swift made us sniffle when she visited a 7-year-old cancer patient, and Nina Dobrev and Jimmy Fallon entertained us with a game of Giant Beer Pong. OITNB: Do You Love or Hate Piper? Taylor Schilling Says She’s “Just Being Herself”

There's a lot going on in Season 2 of Netflix's Orange Is the New Black, and very little of it has to do with Piper Chapman (Taylor Schilling), who is ostensibly the show's protagonist. Creator Jenji Kohan made no secret of the fact that plot lines were going to be more equally distributed in the sophomore season, pulling the focus away from Piper and allowing other characters like Taystee (Danielle Brooks), Miss Rosa (Barbara Rosenblat) and newcomer Vee (Lorraine Toussaint) to move into the spotlight. But Schilling says she frankly didn't even notice the difference.

"I felt like it was hard to even know that there was less of it, because what was happening felt so dynamic, and it felt like the character of Piper was moving in such an interesting way," the Emmy-nominated Schilling tells TVGuide.com. "That's what I was focused on."

How Emmy's Controversial Category Choices Paid Off, and This Year's Other Trivia

According to the Emmy Awards ballot, True Detective isn't a miniseries, but Fargo and American Horror Story: Coven are. Orange is the New Black, Nurse Jackie and Shameless are comedies, even though there are frequently more tears than laughs on those shows.

The debate over how to classify shows that defy classification ruffled plenty of feathers during this year's Emmy campaign season. Yet... read more

Question: With Emmy nominations coming up, I had a few questions about Orange Is the New Black. What effect if any do you think Season 2 airing just around the time of Emmy voting will have on the show? Thankfully, Season 2 seems to have lived up to its predecessor in the eyes of the critics (I thought the season overall might have even been better than the first), and performances by cast members like Uzo Aduba (Suzanne "Crazy Eyes") and Samira Wiley (Poussey) blew me out of the water, but if the season didn't live up to expectations, could it have possibly hurt the show in the nominations process this year as well as next? And do you think the fantastic performances by Aduba and Wiley this season could potentially help them as they try to get nominated for their work on the first season? — Kevin
