Survivor Winner Tyson Apostol: "I Really Tried to Not Alienate Anybody"

The third time was the charm for Tyson Apostol, who was crowned the winner of Survivor: Blood vs. Water Sunday after previously competing on Survivor: Tocantins and Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains.

Tyson had control of the reins for the majority of the season, and was widely assumed to be the frontrunner going into the final three with Gervase Peterson and Monica Culpepper. The newest Survivor champ spoke with TVGuide.com the day after his victory to break down his strategy for the season — and admit which contestants he wouldn't want to play against if he returns to the show...read more

Survivor's Coach: "Tyson Was the Beginning of the End"

Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains' Benjamin Wade has been called a lot of things: "Coach," "The Dragon Slayer." But, as his fans and teammates know, you can't call him disloyal. Unfortunately, Coach's honor wasn't enough to save him from elimination. After Tyson Apostol and "Boston" Rob Mariano were both sent packing, Coach was the strongest male left  and therefore a big target for Sandra Diaz-Twine and Courtney Yates, who injured herself in the immunity challenge. Following his ouster, the 38-year-old spoke with TVGuide.com about his alliance with Russell Hantz, his "showmance" with...read more

Unfortunately, all those attributes just didn't add up when Russell Hantz turned a number of Rob's allies against him and sent him packing. The 34-year-old cast-off spoke with TVGuide.com about how the game has changed over the years, his rivalry with Russell and what he would...read more

Tyson: I'm the Smartest and Strongest Player in Survivor History

After a week off, Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains returned with ousters on both the Villains and the Heroes tribe. On the Villains team, Russell Hantz returned to his Samoa glory days when he pulled out a hidden immunity idol after getting a warning from "Boston Rob" Mariano. However, Russell floored his tribe mates when he opted against using the idol to save himself, instead saving ally Parvati Shallow. The move could have cost Russell his spot on the island, but the big move sent rival Tyson Apostol home instead. The 30-year-old spoke with TVGuide.com about why he... read more
