Tyler Perry has taken to his official Web site to offer raw details of being beaten, abused and molested as a child.
"I'm tired of holding this in. I don't know what to do with it anymore, so, I've decided to give some of it away," the actor/director/writer said.

Perry, who has discussed his rough childhood in the past, said that turning 40 and working on the film Precious (about an abused teenage girl) prompted him to go into further detail.
