Roz and Frasier have just finished their radio show for the evening. Roz gives Frasier the message that his BMW won't be ready until tomorrow morning. It's pouring out and Frasier asks Roz for a ride home. Unfortunately, Roz took the bus and she convinces him to be adventurous and take the bus with her. Frasier tries to act as if he's ridden a bus before, but clearly never has. On the bus, Frasier spots a beautiful woman named Miranda talking to a friend. He listens to their conversation as Roz catches him staring. Roz makes him walk over to talk to her. He's reluctant at first, but has nothing to lose. Afterall, he now knows her name now and where she works. He'll either come off as a scary stalker or she'll love him. As he attempts to walk over when an empty seat next to her is available, she exits the bus. Later that day, Niles stops over to see Daphne. Martin has just gotten off the phone with Duke who has given him two tickets to the Sonic's game the next evening. Martin invites Niles, but Niles passes because of the chess match he'll be attending. Martin is a little upset and grouchy because he's been cooped up in the house all week due to the rain. Apparently the rain should be ending after the meteor shower on Saturday. Niles and Daphne reminisce about a meteor shower a few years back.
