General Hospital icon Tristan Rogers — absent from the show since 2006 — will headline the second season of SOAPnet's General Hospital: Night Shift as Robert Scorpio when the series returns next month. Don’t expect his usual bad-boy superspy antics, however. Scorpio will arrive with "a major health issue that’ll have him grappling with his mortality," says a rep for the GH spin-off.Robert's daughter, Robin (Kimberly McCullough), will be his physician. Sounds pretty damn dire, but Rogers is thrilled. "This’ll be a real departure wherever it's headed," he says. "Robert and Robin will finally get a chance to connect as adults. By the way, GH is now officially confirming Finola's comeback, which TVGuide.com first reported last week — even if a certain other soapy site did post a "Finola Returns!" report right after mine went online, lamely trying to pass off my scoop as their own. But I digress....
