After dominating immunity challenges for the past few weeks on Survivor: Cagayan, Tasha Fox rarely found herself in danger at any of the Tribal Councils. But when she lost the immunity challenge in this week's episode to Spencer, she knew she was a goner right away.
"I just felt at the first opportunity that I lost an immunity challenge, I was going home," Tasha told TVGuide.com after her ouster. "It was kind of expected."
For once, this week's elimination on Survivor: Cagayan was not a blindside.
"We knew it was a 50/50 shot between me and Spencer," the show's latest castoff, Jeremiah Wood, tells TVGuide.com. "In the end, I gave it my all. It is what it is. I love this game and I'd love to be able to play it again. I know where I messed up."
Jeremiah's ouster on Wednesday's episode was the result of a flip-flop by Jefra — who pledged her support to Jeremiah and his alliance early on in the episode, but then ended up returning to her original alliance led by Tony.
Check out our interview with Jeremiah to find out what big moves he thinks could have changed his fate, as well as his reaction to Jefra's wavering and bafflement that Tony's still in the game...
On Wednesday's episode of Survivor: Cagayan, Trish and Woo get a reward without even having to win a challenge, when they discover a papaya tree in the jungle.
Tony Vlachos is certainly not winning any friends on Survivor: Cagayan. Now that we've gotten to the portion of the game where people voted off become members of the jury, two out of three jurors heading into next week are victims of blindsides at least partially engineered by the New Jersey cop.
The latest castoff, L.J. McKanas, became the victim of an eyebrow-raising betrayal by Tony on Wednesday's episode, getting blindsided just a few episodes after he gave Tony his immunity idol at Tribal Council.
"I was completely shocked," McKanas tells TVGuide.com about his ouster. "I mean, when I replayed it in my mind, I thought, there's no circumstance where that makes any sense."
So much for not burning bridges in the Survivor universe!
Survivor: Cagayan's latest castoff, Morgan McLeod, went out in a blaze of glory pettiness Wednesday night, badmouthing fellow contestant Kass McQuillen for being "bitter," "ugly" and "40." (¡Que horror!)
Reflecting on her comments this week, McLeod stops short of saying she regrets making them, but admits that she probably should have thought twice about making some of her remarks...
