David Letterman Threatened on a Jihadist Website

David Letterman is the target of a death threat on a jihadist website, The Associated Press reports.

A man identifying himself as Umar al-Basrawi wrote that Muslim followers should "cut the tongue of the lowly Jew and shut it forever." (Letterman is Protestant.)

The Book of Mormon Wins Big at Tony Awards

The current critical and commercial darling of Broadway, The Book of Mormon, unsurprisingly reigned supreme at Sunday night's Tony Awards, taking home nine trophies including Best Musical. Its creators, South Park's Trey Parker and Matt Stone, as well as their collaborator, Avenue Q's Robert Lopez, snagged the honor for Best Book of a Musical.
