Started her career at age 4 doing TV commercials, including ones for Northern bathroom tissue.
Took a hiatus from Growing Pains in 1992 to cope with anorexia (she weighed as little as 90 pounds); later became a spokesperson against the eating disorder.
Was introduced to her husband, Roby Marshall, by her TV mom, Joanna Kearns, who had worked on a TV movie with him.
Published a book in 2003, Room to Grow: An Appetite for Life.
Was arrested in 2004 for driving under the influence after crashing her SUV.
