Worked as a carpenter, construction worker, newspaper editor, life-insurance agent and chauffeur before becoming an actor.
Starred as Joey Buttafuoco in the 1993 TV-movie The Amy Fisher Story and John Gotti in the 1994 TV-movie Getting Gotti.
In 2003, he played head coach Mike George in ESPN's first scripted series, the short-lived Playmakers.
