The Hollywood Residential crew is at Tom Arnold's house to spruce up his backyard, but problems arise when Tom is nowhere to be found. Tony (Adam Paul) fesses up that he was out partying with Tom the night before and hasn't seen him since. He promises to find Tom in order to save the episode. During the wait, Lila (Lindsey Stoddart) meets with her agents who discuss their strategy for making her a huge star. Tony thinks he's saved the day by breaking Tom out of rehab, but the unpredictable Mr. Arnold has other plans in mind. watch
When Joy (Joely Fisher) unplugs the toaster in an effort to be environmentally conscious, Eddie (Brad Garrett) grows annoyed, refusing to believe that the action warrants energy conservation. Wanting to prove his wife wrong, Eddie confronts Tom Franklin (Darryl Sivad), a science teacher at Churchill High, who after siding with Eddie, receives an invite to the Stark house for dinner. Meanwhile, Jeff (Eddie Kaye Thomas) is busy planning a surprise birthday for Steph (Kat Foster) that Eddie and Joy accidentally ruin by their arguing. After Eddie and Joy finally agree to handle their future disagreements in a more constructive manner, their plan goes up in flames along with their toaster. watch
