After ABC confirmed next season's all-stars outing of Dancing with the Stars, Tom Bergeron revealed that it will feature past champions, fan favorites and controversial cast members, which kind of took the wind out of sails. Do we really want to see Kate Gosselin again? No. Since season-planning is still in a nascent stage, we want to offer our two cents on how we think the season should be. Here are our five wishes for all-stars:
Past Dancing with the Stars contestant Tom DeLay, the former House Majority Leader, has been convicted of illegally funneling corporate money to Texas candidates in 2002.
The Associated Press reported that a jury deliberated for 19 hours before returning guilty verdicts Wednesday against DeLay on money laundering charges. He faces up to...
After 10 seasons on Dancing with the Stars, Cheryl Burke still experiences firsts. "This season is the first time, I have to say, that I know all the celebrities," she tells TVGuide.com. "I didn't have to Google anyone!" Burke has had to brush up on the majority of her partners — including former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay, Chad Ochocinco, Emmitt Smith, Maurice Greene — save for Ian Ziering, Wayne Newton, and now, basketball star-turned-actor Rick Fox. "I knew who Rick Fox was. Aren't you proud of me?" Burke says. But the Dancing pro has bigger things to worry about this season than her partner's resume.
Googling her Dancing with the Stars partners is becoming Cheryl Burke's pre-season ritual. Last season, she had to Google former House majority leader Tom DeLay. This time around, she turned to the search engine to brush up on Cincinnati Bengal wide receiver Chad Ochocinco. "Isn't it funny? I didn't know anything about him either," she tells TVGuide.com. "It just shows you all I've been doing since I was a little kid is dancing." So what was her reaction when she learned about the NFL star? Find out below.

Mya, Dancing With The Stars
Mya received stitches for a deep cut in her hand Sunday night, reports People — but she'll still appear on the ninth season premiere of Dancing with the Stars (Monday, 8/7c, ABC) with pro partner Dmitri Chaplin.
A source tells People that Mya reached for a glass of something to drink when the glass shattered in her hand. "Went [to] the hospital late last night [to] get stitches," she said on her Twitter account...
Dancing With The Stars, Tom DeLay
Age is just a number for 62-year-old Tom DeLay and he says he's not going to let the 41-year age difference between him and snowboarder Louie Vito, the season's youngest Dancing with the Stars cast member, be a disadvantage. "I'm going to work harder than the young guys," he tells TVGuide.com. "Hard work always wins." See what other moves and tactics the former House Majority leader, who's nursing a pre-stress fracture in his right foot, has in mind for his Monday-night debut.
Top DeLay, Dancing With The Stars
Tom DeLay may be down, but he's definitely not out: The Dancing with the Stars contestant suffered a pre-stress fracture in his right foot but says he is doing everything he can to keep on dancing.
"I'm very cognizant that if it breaks I may have to leave the show, so I am trying to follow the doctor's orders. His orders were relative rest," DeLay tells TVGuide.com. "Let me put it this way: I'm going to dance until the foot breaks."

Dancing With The Stars - Season 9 - Cheryl Burke and Tom DeLay
The curse of Dancing with the Stars endures: Former House majority leader Tom DeLay is the first Season 9 contender to be injured in rehearsals.
"Old age is catching up to me, may have a stress fracture in my foot. No worries, it'll take more than that to keep me off the dance floor!" tweeted DeLay early on Tuesday.
But he soon learned...
While the rest of the world was buzzing about Tom DeLay's casting on Dancing with the Stars, Cheryl Burke was busy doing her homework on the former House Majority leader. "I didn't really know anything about him. I'm not kidding," Burke tells TVGuide.com. "But I totally think it is better not to know much about your partner beforehand. I'm not starstruck — ever — and I don't treat them any differently." And she's hoping Dancing fans won't treat DeLay any differently on the show. See what else the two-time champ has to say about her partner and find out why she's no rule-breaker.
