Box Office: Tom Cruise's Oblivion Obliterates the Competition

Oblivion, the new sci-fi movie starring Tom Cruise, destroyed the competition at the box office this weekend, taking in $38.2 million for an easy first place finish. It's Cruise's fifth-highest grossing opening weekend ever, and his highest non-sequel debut since 2005's War of the Worlds, Box Office Mojo reports.

In the August issue of Allure, the 34-year-old opens up about life after her divorce from Tom Cruise. Holmes filed for divorce in June after five years of marriage. Together they have a 6-year-old daughter, Suri. When asked if she wants to more kids, she responded, "I don't know. I'm open to it."
