Question: I'm tired of all the complaints about the just-announced Emmy hosts, reality-host nominees Ryan Seacrest, Tom Bergeron, Jeff Probst, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel. I suspect they're absolutely the perfect choices for the upcoming awards show for a few reasons. First, the possible upcoming actors' strike. If it happens, all of these five reality stars will still be able to host, as they're not SAG. Second, the recent writers' strike. Reality TV had to come to the rescue when scripted series ran out. This is the way for the Emmys to thank reality shows for saving the networks during that strike. And third, these reality hosts are great on their feet, and most of them are used to the rigors of live TV. Should be a great show, don't you think?
