It takes Diff'rent Strokes to move the world, and nobody knows that better than Todd Bridges. Tonight, he begins a recurring gig as a crazed ex-military man named Monk on Everybody Hates Chris (8 pm/ET, on the CW), so we had to see what the former Willis Drummond is talkin' 'bout these days.

Skating with Celebrities Why is it that I saw more falls during the recent Olympic ice-dancing competition than during the entire season of Skating with Celebrities? I don't care if the Torino routines were technically and artistically more difficult — it's just not right. And speaking of the recent global games, I was so out of the loop. I had no idea that Sir CrankyPants was actually Sasha Cohen's coach. Plus, I had no clue that Jillian's partner, John Zimmerman, was married to Italian Olympic skater Silvia Fontana. Perhaps no reality-show elimination is as brutally cold as on Fox's Skating with Celebrities (Mondays at 8 pm/ET), where the booted have likely spent weeks sliding their backsides on the ice. The first to lack muster with the judging panel was Diff'rent Strokes alum Todd Bridges, who in this TVGuide.com Q&A sings the praises of his pro partner, opens up about his sobriety, and promises a true Hollywood tell-all the likes of which you cannot imagine.
TVGuide.com: You treated Skating with Celebrities viewers to a "Whatcha talkin' 'bout, Willis?" early on. Did you just want to get it out of your system?
Todd Bridges: Yeah, I figured if I kill it before anyone
