California Suite -- Neil Simon's laugh-drenched adaptation of his hit Broadway play intertwining stories set in the Beverly Hills Hotel.

Split -- Three people all claim to be the same person, but none of them are able to prove their identity. They realize that a certain anti-psychotic medication will resolve their dispute, as it will prove that two of them are mere illusions. Unfortunately, there s only one pill left. Their argument about who should take the pill turns violent resulting in one of them getting shot. Still, the victim manages to swallow the last pill. When the medication takes effect, the other two disappear proving he s the real deal. Problem is, he discovers he s shot himself. Aw, hell.

Gary Cooper, in his last great role, portrays a former outlaw whose past returns to haunt him when he is forced by his old gang to participate in a train robbery. Julie London and Lee J. Cobb co-star.

A single mistake puts a 19-year old girl behind bars, where she experiences the terrors and torments of women in prison. Eleanor Parker received an Oscar nomination for her role, one of many fine performances elicited by noted director John Cromwell ("Abe Lincoln in Illinois," "The Enchanted Cottage").
