The film focuses on Clough's brief but action-packed tenure as manager of Leeds United in the 1970s, but this clip sees him talking to Sam Longson (Jim Broadbent), the chairman of his previous club Derby County. That's Clough's right-hand man Peter Taylor (Timothy Spall) waiting in the background - and we feel it's safe to say that this scene signals a deterioration in the relations between Clough and Longson. watch
