Taylor Swift must share her spotlight once again with Kanye West. Billboard Magazine has named Swift the top female artist of 2009 and West the top male artist.

Swift also was chosen's Billboard's top artist of the year — Kanye was sixth on that list.

The late celebrity spinner won the DJ of the Year prize while the imprisoned rapper took home two trophies Saturday night ­-- the best collaboration award with Rihanna for the song "Live Your Life" and the album of the year award for "Paper Trail."

More acts are lining up to rock the MTV Video Music Awards.Rihanna, Paramore, Pink and T.I. have been added to the roster of VMA performers, The Associated Press reports.They join the already-announced Kid Rock, Lil' Wayne and the Jonas Brothers.Rihanna, whose "Take a Bow" is up for Best Female Video, will perform her No. 1 summer hit "Disturbia," while Best Rock Video nominee Paramore will belt out "Misery Business." Buttonz? Yodeling? Paul Wall? If I am at all current on the music kids are listening to these days — and my niece Phoenix will be the first to say I am not — it's only because my weekend routine finds me watching VH1 videos while doing cardio (and reading the latest periodicals, because I'm such the multi-tasker) at the local health club.
