Criminal Minds star Joe Mantegna has a message for Americans this Memorial Day: Our veterans need jobs.
Mantegna, who will return as co-host of Monday's National Memorial Day Concert on PBS with fellow CBS star Gary Sinise, is also actively working with America Wants You!, a new initiative that encourages corporate America to hire men and women returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. Mantegna and Criminal Minds co-star Thomas Gibson have also filmed PSAs to spread the word.

Paget Brewster is already bracing for the fan reaction.
"There's a nice little moment between Prentiss and Hotch in the episode," she tells TVGuide.com of Criminal Minds' 150th installment airing Wednesday. "I know the fans who want Hotch and Prentiss together are going to go nuts! They're totally gonna lose it. I can already picture it. People really want them to date for some reason and I think this will just add to that."

Now that A.J. Cook is back on Criminal Minds, she has one goal: to get beat up.
"I have volunteered to get beat up! I want to get into a really bad fight this year," she tells TVGuide.com. "I'm like, 'Everyone else has gotten the crap beaten out of them! It's JJ's turn!'"

She may get her wish now that JJ is a full-fledged profiler since she returned to the BAU after a year in the State Department. Though JJ said way back in Season 2 that she had no plans to take extra classes to graduate from media liaison to profiler, Cook believes the promotion is "organic" and in line with JJ's story — not to mention her own story off-screen.

The biggest surprise of Monday night's big Two and a Half Men season premiere may have been the unexpected appearance of Dharma & Greg stars Jenna Elfman and Thomas Gibson.

There wasn't a wet eye in the house during the post-Charlie Sheen/Charlie Harper season opener, which began with Alan trying to read last rites over his mangled brother's coffin, interrupted by vengeful exes rattling off a gamy litany of STD jokes and a mother more interested in finding a buyer for his Malibu manse. Should I start watching Two and a Half Men now that Ashton Kutcher has taken over for Charlie Sheen?
Full disclosure: I'm a terrible choice to recap the premiere of Men 2.0 really. Did I enjoy watching the show over which Sheen formerly held court? Um, no. Did I watch an episode or two while visiting my parents in Florida for Easter and not really mind it exactly? Sure. Was I a Kutcher fan from his days on That '70s Show? Nope. Will I admit to watching — and moderately enjoying -- Dude, Where's My Car? while home from work hungover sick? OK, fine. That said, my feelings about the merger of the relative pop-culture magnetism of Two and a Half Men and Kutcher can be summarized in one simple word brought to the colonies by my Emerald Isle forebears: meh.

ADAM: It's simple: Jane will claim that he killed Red John in self-defense after he learned that Red John was communicating with his mole, Agent O'Loughlin. (We all saw the gun and the phone call, right?) Not so fast, says series creator Bruno Heller. "Not only is there no cell phone with any calls from an FBI Agent named O'Loughlin, but no gun will be found [by the police]," he says, hinting that someone is still pulling the strings. "Within five minutes of the season-opener, Jane is in jail for homicide with no way out. And he and Lisbon, to some extent, start questioning his sanity." There we go — the insanity defense!
