Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake
Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake are back at it again!
On Friday's Tonight Show, the duo performed the "History of Rap Volume 5," taking on favorites like Salt 'N' Pepa's "Whatta Man," Beastie Boys' "(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (To Party)" and the more recent hit "Good Life" from Kanye West and T-Pain. The medley comes just a few days after Fallon's inaugural show that featured him and Will Smith doing "The Evolution of Hip-Hop Dancing."
The Beastie Boys' Adam "MCA" Yauch has died, People has confirmed. He was 47.
"We at Silva Artist Management are deeply saddened to confirm the passing of our friend and client, Adam Yauch," his managers said. "We ask for your patience and understanding as well as respect for the privacy of Adam's family."
The Beastie Boys' Adam "MCA" Yauch has a "very treatable" form of cancer that will force the group to cancel all upcoming performances and delay the release of its upcoming album, Yauch and his bandmates said in a statement.
The group said Yauch, 44, was diagnosed last week with a cancerous tumor in his left salivary gland. He said it would not affect his vocal chords.
Yauch, who has the growliest voice and, arguably, the smoothest flow of the group, shared the news with fans in a relatively upbeat video with fellow Beastie Adam "Ad Rock" Horovitz.
