(1939, Monogram) Tex Ritter, Mantan Moreland, Jean Joyce, Hal Taliaferro, Forest Taylor. Tex, a lawdog, impersonates a notorious outlaw and infiltrates a cattle ranch where the owner is slowly being poisoned by her unscrupulous foreman who plans on taking over the ranch. When the real outlaw shows up, Tex finds himself in a slight bind! Tex and Mantan's version of the "Boll Weevil Song" is a delight. Recommended. 16mm. watch

(1940, Monogram) Tex Ritter, Roscoe Ates, Carleton Young, Patsy Moran. Drought-plagued ranchers have to sell their cattle at a loss in order to meet mortgage payments to a corrupt banker. To make things worse, the cattle come down with hoof-and-mouth disease. Tex, the sheriff, is thrown into a fracas that pits him against his rancher friends. Is it really hoof-and-mouth disease?
