Jessica SimpsonWhen she needed to get into butt-kicking shape for The Dukes of Hazzard, Simpson turned to childhood pal Mike Alexander. "Jessica wanted a more muscular butt," says the 26-year-old Texan, who got his friend's assets looking good with 45 minutes of lunges and squats, five to six days a week. "Most women think they have to do tons of cardio, but that doesn't shape muscle," explains Alexander, a trainer at Beverly Hills' Sports Club/LA. Still think beauty is in the eye of the beholder? Think again. According to one expert, it's possible to figure out exactly what makes a "perfect" face. And you'll be surprised at how he rates some of today's hottest male and female TV stars.
After 27 years as a practicing oral and facial reconstructive surgeon, Dr. Stephen Marquardt used his professional experience, along with his studies in engineering, to build a patented mask that he believes defines the ideal face. It's based upon a mathematical construction that uses the ancient Greek ratio known as the Golden Mean, a proportion that for centuries has helped artists, architects and others create eye-pleasing forms.
Dr. Marquardt's initial interest in this field of study was inspired by his personal life, beginning at age 4 when his mother suffered a car accident. "She was disfigured," he says, "so I always thought about why, when someone's face changes, you perceive [that] the whole person changes." A

Their striking resemblance will be alluded to in each of Warren's five episodes this season. "In the script," she delightedly tells TVGuide.com, "they are always saying to Susan, 'She is too young to be your mother.'
"Sophie is wild," Warren continues. "I get to be inappropriately sexy, drinking, vulnerable and volatile. Sophie has been married four times, is a hopeless romantic — and
a loving mother, but she can't get it right, just like most of us."
Spoiler alert! If you don't want to know any more about Sophie's scandalous stay on Wisteria Lane, read no further. This week, Sophie moves in with S

Law cutie tapped into her dance background and developed The S Factor, a how-to on shaping up burlesque-style. In Kelley's L.A.-based studio, the female-only clientele indulge in a combination of Pilates, yoga and erotic moves straight from the stage to redefine their natural curves. The S Factor is rapidly becoming a fitness craze — Teri Hatcher is a fan — and desperate housewives everywhere are getting sleek by vamping it up. Sometimes it's good to be a woman.TV Guide Online: How can shimmying down a pole get me in the best shape of my life?Sheila Kelley: I have to put you on a pole and watch you flounder first. That's Nashville-born actor James Denton, 41, who has previously starred in The Pretender, Philly and Threat Matrix. Every nighttime sudser needs a shady stud to tantalize the ladies, and he sure fills the bill. TV Guide Online: Who's more right for you on the show, Nicollette Sheridan (Edie) or Teri Hatcher (Susan)?James Denton: Teri's character, Susan, is a better fit for him.
