As previously reported, VH1 is bringing back Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew for a second season of exploiting chronicling the struggles celebs face while detoxing in a treatment facility. But this time around, there's one huge reason to watch: Gary Busey.Busey, whose wild antics have been well-documented (most recently his crazed behavior on the red carpet at the 2008 Academy Awards), is remarkably not one of the celebs in for treatment. Instead touting 13 years of sobriety since his cocaine addiction Busey will be a mentor to the new class of patients which includes Season 1 cast member Jeff Conaway (Grease), Sean Stewart (son of music icon Rod Stewart), model/actress Amber Smith, Rodney King, Guns N' Roses' Steven Adler, Tawny Kitaen and former American Idol wanabe Nikki McKibbin. Here's hoping at least one of his sessions involves teaching the addicts how to yell at teenaged journalists. The series will follow the patients during a 21-day program featuring group and o...

Like its past five editions, VH1's sixth round of The Surreal Life(Sunday at 9 pm/ET) features seven spotlight-hungry celebrity housemates just trying to get along. But this season's major change caused a lot of the drama: the addition of Florence Henderson as on-call counselor. Instead of soothing the pain of the more troubled participants ([cough] Tawny Kitaen [cough]), Henderson pushed people's buttons and polarized the cast. "Mrs. Brady" had her final say on last w

Surreal LifeMaybe I was overly optimistic about this edition of The Surreal Life when I wrote about it last week. The second episode didn't bring any of the drama I was anticipating or any of the fireworks Florence Henderson promised during our interview. True, Tawny Kitaen was a bit of a control freak (heavy on the freak) while producing that Smash Mouth video. But in the end she brought the project in on time and under budget. So what if she scared Florence away by wearing a habit? (Although it's really sad that Tawny thought playing a sexy nun would be "avant-garde." How lame.) Steve Harwell begging Tawny to writhe around on the car was predic

Surreal LifeAh, chemistry. I hated it in high school but I love it on The Surreal Life. Not every cast has worked. But if the first episode of the new season is a harbinger of drama to come, this may be the most addictive edition yet. As observed by Florence Henderson, aka Mrs. Brady, aka Dr. Flo, the cast's on-call guidance counselor (she's a real-life hypnotherapist), the house is filled with some strong personalities: Poison guitarist C.C. DeVille, who sounds like a cross between Bob Goldthwait and my super-Jewish Long Island aunt (come to think of it, he used to look like her, too, when he wore makeup back in the '80s); Playboy hottie Andrea Lowell, who insists she's not a bimbo (even though she uses made-up words like "ominent"); Tawny Kitaen,
