Eden Riegel and Tamara Braun
Tamara Braun didn't plan to be back in the suds so soon, but she couldn't turn down a chance to make some daytime TV history. The acclaimed actress, recently seen as nutjob Ava Vitali on Days of Our Lives, will join All My Children Oct. 30 as lesbian architect Reese Williams. Viewers will learn that Reese has been having a very serious romance in Paris with the soap's sapphic icon, Bianca Montgomery (Eden Riegel). So serious that they're about to become parents. Yep, Binks is pregnant.
Get lots more scoop plus Braun's take on her new daytime gig, after the jump.

Bad Timing: The insanely popular Eden Riegel returns to All My Children Oct. 17. Good news for us, bad news for her character, Bianca. Erica's youngest daughter shows up in Pine Valley just as a killer tornado hits. No one knows she's in town until Zach (Thorsten Kaye) finds her body in the rubble. And get this: Binks has a new lover, played by soap great Tamara Braun (ex-Carly, General Hospital)! BTW: If you're not into Riegel's outrageous web series, Imaginary Bitches, on YouTube, you're missing out on the most shameless pleasure ever.Survivor: Oakdale: This week, As the World Turns kills off supervillain James Stenbeck played by Anthony Herrera when he takes a flyer off a lighthouse. But is he really most sincerely dead? As veteran ATWT fans know, Stenbeck has come back from the dead many times even after a fall from an airplane. Herrera's quite the survivor, too. In 1997, he was diagnosed with terminal lymphoma but is still with us thanks to a stem-cell tran...
Tamara Braun by Mitchell Haaseth/NBC
Tune In Tamara: Say goodbye to Tamara Braun. The impossibly sublime actress will exit Days of Our Lives August 4 when it looks like her character, Ava, will stand trial for causing that pesky plane crash. But, before skipping town, she has one more sex romp with her brainwashed Robo-John.Storm Warning: The Bold and the Beautiful takes a dark turn August 56 when Storm Logan (William deVry), who killed himself last spring, returns in a fantasy sequence. His sister Katie, who is distraught over an unexpected pregnancy, will see him rise naked from the sea and urge her to join him in death. When she dives underwater after him, he morphs into a demon.Seeing the Light: Montel Williams steps into the role of Clayton Boudreau on Guiding Light for a two-day stint (August 1 and 5). Word is, the author-talk show host so impressed execs with his acting chops that they want him back. Now for the bad news: Clayton's return involves a heartbreaking tragedy, so have a hanky ready. Debbi Morgan by Steve Fenn/ABC
Over the past couple of months, many daytime greats have returned to the suds some in old roles, some in new ones. So how are these prodigal kids doing? Michael Logan shares his take.Debbi Morgan and Darnell Williams (All My Children) It's been worth a gazillion plot contrivances to see Angie back with her "dead" Jesse after 20 long years. Oh, how we've longed for her blazing soul and Earth Mother passion! How much we've missed his sass and cool and cut-to-the-chase honesty! And aren't they still incomprehensibly beautiful together? Watching these legends reunite in that terrific train-station scene made me realize how starved we soap fans are for true, epic love. Clearly, you can go home again.RATING: 5 out of 5 starsTamara Braun (Days of our Lives) She was the best and most electrifying of the four gals who have played Carly on General Hospital save your irate letters, you can't change my mind! General Hospital's Tamara Braun (ex-Carly) isn't the only soap-opera sexpot dropping by ABC's sitcom Freddie. Next up, Krista Allen (ex-Billie, Days of our Lives) is romanced by Freddie Prinze Jr. in an upcoming episode entitled "Freddie and the Hot Mom." Look for Allen — who, naturally, plays the hot mom in question — to air on March 29.
You read it here first that Tamara Braun (ex-Carly No. 2, General Hospital) would return to ABC's Freddie during February sweeps. Tune in tonight, Feb. 15 at 8:30 pm/ET, to see Braun's character, Rose, vie for Freddie Prinze Jr.'s affections with dishy former Miss Universe Denise Quiñones.
Tamara Braun, General Hospital
Good news! Freddie Prinze Jr. has wisely made good on his promise to bring back Tamara Braun to his ABC sitcom Freddie. The wildly popular General Hospital grad — she was Carly No. 2 — will return for two more episodes as Rose. This time, though, her sweet-natured confection baker will have a rival for Freddie's affections: Dishy former Miss Universe Denise Quiñones. Will Rose come out of the competition smelling sweet? Find out when Tamara's episodes air, which will most likely be sometime during February sweeps.
The second of Tamara Braun's two episodes on Freddie airs tonight at 8:30 pm/ET. It's probably not the GH grad's last appearance as Rose the baker, though, since ABC has just extended a full-season order to Freddie Prinze Jr.'s sitcom. "Freddie was really great," Tam tells TVGuide.com. "He said, 'If we get picked up for [a full 22 episodes], I want to have you back.'" So will it happen? Freddie's show rep responds: "I haven't heard anything about her coming back." Net yet, anyway.
