Castle: Will Ryan's Hopes for Fatherhood Go Up in Flames?

Stana Katic, Nathan Fillion, Seamus Dever

Childbirth on TV shows rarely goes according to plan. For Castle's Kevin Ryan, there will be no exception.

On Monday's episode (10/9c, ABC), Castle (Nathan Fillion) and Beckett (Stana Katic) investigate the murder of a victim found in ruins of a building fire. The team members learn soon enough that they're dealing with a serial arsonist, which is very bad news for Esposito (Jon Huertas) and Ryan (Seamus Dever), who end up trapped in a burning building just as Ryan's wife Jenny (Juliana Dever) goes into labor.

"We thought there would be high jinks with getting to the hospital and getting that phone call," Seamus Dever tells TVGuide.com with a laugh. read more

Kate Meets Castle's Dad

James Brolin returns as Jackson Hunt, the estranged dad of Rick Castle (Nathan Fillion), on the Jan. 13 episode of ABC's Castle. He meets his son's fiancée, Kate Beckett (Stana Katic), but for most of the episode, she's unaware that the CIA operative is her future father-in-law (he keeps his identity secret to protect his undercover work). "That introduction comes later and is far more awkward," says Fillion.

I'm so excited for a Bones wedding! Got any other scoop about the new season? — Melanie
ADAM:
When the new season begins, Brennan is still noticeably devastated that Booth, under the duress of Pelant, called off the engagement. "Booth is not someone who sits well with unhappiness," creator Hart Hanson says. "He wants to fix things and that's what he's trying to do. His desire [is] to kill Pelant." So will he? "He's not usually like that; he's not a killer. But... Caroline and Sweets are very concerned," he teases.

Please tell me you have some Pam-and-Tara scoop for True Blood? — Lila
NATALIE:
The state of Louisiana will declare war on vampires, so there won't be any time for Tara and Pam to braid each others' hair and talk about their feelings about their hot kiss in the finale. However, their relationship will deepen as a result of two shocking events: 1) Pam will find out (for the first time) who Nora really is to Eric and... read more

I can't believe I have to wait all summer for more Castle. Is there any way Beckett will turn down Castle's proposal? — Lauren
ADAM:
Depends on who you ask. Cast member Tamala Jones thinks that Beckett's desire for career advancement in Washington, D.C., could outweigh her feelings for Castle. "Beckett is a strong woman, and she's not going to forget who she is," she says. "So she may say no — or not right now." Susan Sullivan, who plays Castle's mother, has a different take. "What woman in her right mind would say no to him?" she says. "Therein would lie the problem: I may actually have to move out. Yikes!"

Castle: Can Esposito Fill the "Hole" in His Life with Kelly Hu?

John Huertas, Kelly Hu

Castle's Jon Huertas has been thrilled with the opportunity to take a closer look at his character, Detective Javier Esposito, during the ABC drama's fifth season.

Following a Christmas episode that highlighted Esposito's loneliness now that Detective Ryan (Seamus Dever) is married and his booty calls with Lanie (Tamala Jones) have become less frequent, last week's episode featured Esposito taking special interest in an at-risk youth and revealing his character's own troubled upbringing.

Winter TV: Get the scoop on your favorite returning shows

"I thought it was an interesting story line," Huertas tells TVGuide.com. "[It was] something I felt I could relate to. It was nice to be able to show that sometimes someone can come into someone's life and be that instrument of guidance for them to do better. On our show, it's always the male-female type of relationship. So I was really excited that it wasn't about two people falling in love or playing with the idea of love."

That's not to say the issue of Esposito's love life won't be explored. In fact, Monday's episode (10/9c, ABC) finds Esposito taking more than a professional interest in a suspect... read more

As we first reported, the episode, titled "Significant Others," finds Castle (Nathan Fillion) in a pickle when his "deep-fried Twinkie" ex-wife Meredith (Scandal's Darby Stanchfield) winds up crashing at Casa Castle after her planned trip to Europe falls through because Alexis (Molly Quinn) has mono. As luck would have it, Beckett (Stana Katic) is also sleeping over while her place is being fumigated.

Can we say awkward? In any case, based on our exclusive first look at the episode below, Beckett is a little bit unsure about to handle the threat of Meredith... read more

Got any scoop on the "kid from Baltimore" storyline on NCIS? — Maddie, via Twitter
ADAM:
Word on the "kid" is that he's a boy Tony once saved from a fire many years ago. Unfortunately, not all of his family members made it out alive, which drove him to become an arson investigator. Look for him to be reunited with Tony when a string of fires leave the Baltimore cops stumped and in need of some federal input.
