Are you still with us Castle fans?...
Most everyone remembers where they were 10 years ago on September 11, as we watched the horrific images and stories unfold. A decade later, many will gather in front of the TV again to watch, remember, reflect — and the broadcast and cable networks are offering a wide range of specials to put the tragedy in perspective.
But there's plenty else happening on TV this weekend. Here's my take on some of the more notable highlights, including the major 9/11 programming:
Echo is growing up on Season 2 of Dollhouse (Fridays, 9/8c, Fox), and her new mission means no more acting like a 4-year-old for Eliza Dushku.
Of course, the childish character Dushku played last season was like a child who could kill you with her bare hands. This season, Echo will learn to...
Dollhouse barely escaped cancellation last season, and when it comes back, both the show and its main character will be on a mission, executive producer Joss Whedon and star Eliza Dushku tell TVGuide.com.
In the Season 1 finale, Dushku's Echo received a whole slew of personalities, which caused a huge shortage in her brain. So how will Echo deal this season?
Tahmoh Penikett, Laura Vandervoort and Ryan Carnes
Sci Fi Channel has cast the leads in a pair of two-night/four-hour movies that, if well-received, could be developed into series.
For starters, Tahmoh Penikett (Battlestar Galactica, now on Dollhouse) and Laura Vandervoort (Smallville's Supergirl) will front Riverworld, says the Hollywood Reporter. They will play ...
After months of press and promotion — and a two-week production shutdown — Joss Whedon's new series Dollhouse will premiere on Feb. 13. TVGuide.com recently spoke with series co-star Tahmoh Penikett, who plays FBI agent Paul Ballard, a man with a mission to bring down the Dollhouse permanently. We asked Penikett what he thinks is really behind Paul's obsession with the Dollhouse, what it's like working with Whedon and when his character will actually meet the elusive doll, Echo (Eliza Dushku).
Dollhouse airs Fridays at 9 pm/ET on Fox.
TVGuide.com: How excited are you that the premiere of Dollhouse is almost here?
Tahmoh Penikett: I'm really excited. I'll tell you, I'm still surprised — and a lot of us are — that we're already there. It's amazing how fast [filming] the first season went by. There are a lot of things that happened over the season. It was tumultuous at times with all the speculation, and the press, and the hype and everything. I don't know. I'm just really surprised that we're almost mid-February and that we're done. We finished 13 episodes. Read on for more with Tahmoh Penikett.
Tahmoh Penikett has spent over four years playing the loyal and brave Carl "Helo" Agathon on Sci Fi's hit Battlestar Galactica. The new season premieres Jan. 16 (10 pm/ET) and promises many surprises and twists along the way — including the revelation of the final Cylon in an early episode. Tahmoh is now working with none other than Buffy scribe Joss Whedon on his upcoming show, Dollhouse. (You must watch Dollhouse for his shirtless boxing scene alone!) Tahmoh stopped by to talk to Erin Fox about the emotional final episodes of Battlestar, as well his new character on Dollhouse — including why production was shut down. Be jealous BSG fans; Penikett even signed Erin's official Cylon toaster (seen in the background of the video... it makes real Cylon-imprinted toast)!

Joss Whedon is letting his obsession with Battlestar Galactica get the best of him and I couldn't be happier about it!Whedon has tapped Galactica stud Tahmoh Penikett (aka Helo) to play Eliza Dushku's "twisted romantic foil" in Dollhouse, a spokesperson for Twentieth Television confirms. Also joining the Dollhouse ensemble are Fran Kranz (CBS' Welcome to the Captain), Aussie actress Dichen Lachman and relative newcomer Enver Gjokaj.Penikett's character, Paul Smith (originally named Paul Ballard), is described as an FBI agent who becomes obsessed with both the urban myth that is Dollhouse and its most recognizable inhabitant, Echo (Dushku).Kranz, meanwhile, has been cast as Dollhouse's nerdy programmer Topher Brink, the dude responsible for imprinting the dolls. Lachman, who starred in the Australian series Neighbours, will play Sierra, a Doll similar to Echo, only not as self-aware. And last but not least, Gjokaj will play Echo's buddy Victor, a handsome Doll who is childlike...
