He was a prime suspect in the famous "Who Shot J.R.?" plot on Dallas. Now Patrick Duffy is returning to CBS' The Bold and the Beautiful for another big shooting. His character, gadabout dad Stephen Logan, will be paged back to town in November by his daughter Donna (Jennifer Gareis). "The Logan clan is being horribly abused by Stephanie Forrester [Susan Flannery] and Donna wants her father to stir the pot," says exec producer Brad Bell. Stephen has no idea that his eldest daughter, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), was recently raped or that sicko Stephanie had a hand in it. So expect fireworks. "For years this family has been ashamed to be Logans," Bell notes. "Now they're going to rise up proudly and combat this oppressive woman." Can we safely assume it's Steph who takes the bullet? Bell is mum except to say, "It's a shocker." Reporting by Michael Logan

I did a photo shoot with Joshua Morrow (Nick) and Sharon Case (Sharon) the other day. It was really fun or at least Sharon and I had fun. Josh couldnt wait to get out of there. He had a softball game to go to, and taking pictures is not Joshs favorite thing to do. Here he had two hot babes draped over him and he still didnt like it.Sharon just got married, so shes in honeymoon bliss. Its very sweet to see. Me myself, Im alone, barren and lonely, ha ha ha. Thats completely a joke. Of course I'm not barren. The Daytime Emmys are next week. It will be very fun Im sure. It's always fun to see everybody. Im very much looking forward to the lead-actress luncheon on Thursday. And I picked the place and put together the event, since Susan Flannery (Stephanie, B&B) was egregiously not nominated this year although she will be coming to the luncheon. Unfortunately, Maura West (Carly, ATWT) cannot attend. Im very bumme...

When Daytime Emmy nominations were announced Wednesday on The View, the CBS sudsers led the pack with 29 nominations to ABC's 12 in the major soap-opera categories. After an annus horribilis of budget slashing and cast cuts, there was finally good news for Guiding Light: TV's longest-running serial — which just turned 69 — will vie for best soap honors with As the World Turns, General Hospital and Young and the Restless. GL also scored the most acting nods, with a total of nine!
Speaking of suds thesps, many of the usual suspects were nominated, including Bold and Beautiful matriarch Susan Flannery, GH tough guys Maurice Benard and Anthony Geary, and GL diva Kim Zimmer. Although Bold and the Beautiful honcho Brad Bell has admitted to feeling tempted to keep Lesli Kay on the canvas, the CBS sudser will kill off the dying Felicia Forrester as planned. Bummer!
"Isn't she marvelous?"
Susan Flannery (Stephanie) asks TVGuide.com. "I'm sad to lose her, too, but it's such a powerful story."
Despite Kay's popularity, her TV mom thinks it'd be a mistake to reverse Felicia's terminal cancer diagnosis just to keep her around. "Doesn't that kind of burn the audience?" Flannery says. "We have to go down this path and pay off the story in the right way."
Word is, Felicia's unfortunate demise will give rise to a
Bold new saga: a tussle over her baby son, Dominick. Look for Italian stallion Dante (
Antonio Sabato Jr.) to start asking, "Who's your
real daddy?"
