Aerosmith's 60-year-old front man, Steven Tyler, has checked himself into the rehabilitation clinic at Las Encinas Hospital in Pasadena, Calif., TMZ reports. In an interview airing Tuesday on Access Hollywood, Aerosmith's Steven Tyler cops to being diagnosed with hepatitis C three years ago, but says that after a year of interferon treatments, which "about killed me," the viral infection "is nonexistent in my bloodstream.... Aerosmith has canceled the remaining dates on its North American tour as singer Steven Tyler undergoes surgery — on his throat, by unconfirmed accounts — this week for an undisclosed medical condition. Post-op, Tyler won't be allowed to perform for an extended period of time, making some music fans wonder, "Can Ashlee somehow contract this ailment?"
