Change is coming to The Vampire Diaries.
The CW show's fifth season wrapped up by executing a plan to save the Other Side. After getting all The Travelers in one place, and Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) and Matt (Zach Roerig) setting up a gas leak, Damon (Ian Somerhalder), with Elena (Nina Dobrev) in tow, crashed through the Mystic Grill causing a massive explosion that killed all parties involved. Once on the Other Side, while Liv (Penelope Mitchell) enacted a resurrection spell, Stefan (Paul Wesley), Elena, Enzo (Michael Malarkey) and Alaric (Matt Davis) were able to cross back through...
Enzo is down, but he's not out quite yet.
Although the witty vampire was killed on Thursday's Vampire Diaries, he will still be a villainous force throughout the rest of the season
On Thursday's episode, Damon's one-time cell partner Enzo (Michael Malarkey) finally found out the fate of his love Maggie (Heather Hemmens). He not only learned that she was dead, but also that his best friend Damon (Ian Somerhalder) had killed her in the 1960s...

The Vampire Diaries' Bonnie Bennett is back from the dead! But it isn't without consequences.
Last season's finale saw the Bennett witch (Kat Graham) bring Jeremy Gilbert (Steven R. McQueen) back to life, but in the process, she lost her own. After keeping her death a secret for a few episodes, it finally came out, leading her friends on a mission to bring her back. A few spells, deaths and crazy doppelgangers later, Bonnie is back — but as the new anchor that binds the other side. As part of it, she must also feel the death of every supernatural being, which, of course, she has yet to tell those around her.
It ain't easy being Bonnie Bennett.
The Vampire Diaries' resident witch has gone through a lot in her life, which culminated in her death in the Season 4 finale. But while she seemed rather content with being on the other side, the death of her father and the realization that she's pretty much powerless has slapped Bonnie back to reality. So where does she go from here? And how long before the secret of her death is too much to handle? Kat Graham shares some teases for what's to come.

A threesome! Swoon-worthy Silas! 5 teases from The Vampire Diaries' Season 5 premiere
One threesome, two bubble baths, a few deaths and a sly, yet surprisingly swoon-worthy, Silas? Judging back the craziness of the Vampire Diaries Season 5 premiere, fans are in for one heck of a (sexy) season.
The show picks up with everyone well-aware that the carefree summer is coming to an end and the next chapter of their lives is about to begin. Confirming what Ian Somerhalder recently told us, Damon and Elena (Nina Dobrev) are nothing short of adorable (and horny!). Caroline (Candice Accola) is as Type-A as ever while preparing her dorm, Bonnie (Kat Graham) is still pretending that she's away for the summer so her friends don't have to deal with her death ...
If the newest villain on The Vampire Diaries seems a little familiar, it's because he's a lot like an early version of Damon Salvatore, Ian Somerhalder says.

"Silas doesn't give a sh--," Somerhalder says in the video interview below from TVGuide.com's visit to the show's Atlanta set. "He's like Damon in Season 1. [He thinks,] 'I am almighty, all-powerful, I will mess you up. This is what I want. I'm going to kill everything in the wake if you screw this up for me, but I'm going to toy with you a little bit.'"
