TBS' lanky goofball recently introduced a miniature version of his late-night set as part of the wildly popular "Puppy Conan" segment. He vowed to host an entire hour from the mini-desk and couch, and last night he delivered on his promise with the deliriously surreal episode "Honey, I Shrunk the Set."
WARNING! The following interview contains a major spoiler about the upcoming Secret Life episodes.
Just as Ben and Adrian are ready to settle into married life and parenthood, they're going to be hit with a devastating blow — the loss of their baby. Ken Baumann, who plays Ben, says the tragedy will not only devastate the couple in The Secret Life of The American Teenager, it will change the course of every relationship in the series.
TVGuide.com spoke to the 21-year-old actor about the episode (Monday, June 6, 8/7c, ABC Family), and how he and Adrian (Francia Raisa) will cope.
Ben Stiller (voicing an elf named... Stiller) and The Sopranos' Tony Sirico and Steve Schirripa (as a wannabe Bert and Ernie) are but a few of the stars who will help out with Elmo's Christmas Countdown, a one-hour holiday special coming to ABC. Per the Hollywood Reporter, Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Hudson, Ty Pennington, Alicia Keys, Sheryl Crow and Brad Paisley are also set to appear as themselves to perform in musical numbers, while Big Bird, Grover, Oscar, Snuffie and the Count will be representin' for the "I've got someone's hand inside me" set.
Steve Schirripa tells Celebrity Week that the final salvo of Sopranos episodes, to begin unspooling on April 8, 2007, has been beefed up by one, to nine episodes total. As for any preview of the HBO crime drama's final days, Bobby's portrayer shares, "I'm still alive. That's all I will say".... E! has ordered a third season of The Girls Next Door (aka "Hugh Hefner: Pulsewatch"), to premiere in spring '07.
Has there really not been a new episode of The Sopranos since June 2004? Season 6 doesn't arrive until March. One of the HBO crime-drama's stars, Steve Schirripa, has made the most of his downtime from playing Bobby. In addition to steady gigs on Spike TV and The Tonight Show, the author of The Goomba's Guide to Life and The Goomba's Book of Love has a third book hitting stores on Sept. 13, Nicky Deuce: Welcome to the Neighborhood. And get this — it's for kids. When Schirripa's rep pitched TVGuide.com an interview with him, it was an offer we could not refuse.
TVGuide.com: You've got a lot cooking these days!Steve Schirripa: Yeah, we got a lot of s--- going on. I try to stay busy, brother.
