On Jan. 29, Emmy winner Steve Burton — who previously worked under Phelps when he played hit man Jason Morgan on General Hospital — will join Y&R as Dylan McAvoy, the presumed-dead ex-lover of lawyer Avery Clark (Jessica Collins).
