Eliza Dushku Talks The League, a White Collar Return and What Really Matters to Her

She's battled Buffy, brought it on and made us want to play in the weirdest dollhouse ever, so it's no wonder we can't get enough of Eliza Dushku. But for those of you still not hip to the hotness that is Dushku, we're happy to say that she is more than just a pretty face who can kick ass. She's also a funny lady — as proven by tonight's bawdy guest spot on The League (10:30/9:30c, FX) — a budding filmmaker, and a philanthropist. Here, the multi-hyphenate fan fave discusses her latest foray into the funny business of TV and what we can expect from her in the coming year.

Exclusive First Look: Eliza Dushku Gets a Tight Grip on The League

When Eliza Dushku guest-stars on The League, don't be surprised if there is some tension in the air. It's not personal, it's just sports.

"She's a big Boston girl so she loves the Pats, the Celtics, and the Red Sox. I, on the other hand, am a big New York fan so I love the Giants, the Yankees and the Knicks," Stephen Rannazzisi  tells TVGuide.com. "So there was a lot of angry sexual tension between the two of us."

In Dushku's episode, airing next Thursday at 10:30/9:30c on FX, the Buffy alum plays Kevin's new Krav Maga instructor after his wife encourages him to work out more. As seen in this exclusive first look, his new teacher is very hands-on, much to the disbelief of...read more

The League Cast and Creators Talk Seth Rogen's Dirty Randy Debut: "He Was No. 1 On Our List"

How did Seth Rogen land the role of Dirty Randy on The League? Well, he's a movie star, a skilled improviser. Oh yeah, and he looked the part.

"There's a very short list of people who are brilliantly funny and who are going to be a believable porn location scout," co-creator and executive producer Jeff Schaffer tells TVGuide.com. "So he was No. 1 on our list."

In the Season 3 premiere, airing Thursday at 10:30/9:30c on FX, the Knocked Up actor plays the oft-mentioned, never-before-seen directing buddy... read more

The League Creators Look Ahead to Season 3's Reign of Ruxin and Upcoming NFL Cameos

Until FX renewed The League Monday, die-hard fans were panicked they had seen the last of Kevin's meltdowns and Ruxin's schemes. Creators and executive producers Jackie and Jeff Schaffer said they never doubted the comedy's future.

"I honestly never questioned it," Jackie tells TVGuide.com. "I think we have the funniest cast on TV hands down. We weren't done with them, the network wasn't done with them yet and God knows the fans weren't done with them... read more

December 19, 2006: The Bachelor Party and Stolen Vows

Let me start with two completely unrelated facts that you should tell everyone you know:1) Someone just sent me the complete version of the Michael Richards meltdown, and the one part that was cut out of the version most people saw is where Hugh Laurie is high-fiving him. 2) We're on twice this week. Tuesday at 9 and 9:30 pm/ET.In keeping with the theme of twos, this week I'm going to present to you the two-part Big Day guide to torturing your coworkers. 1) Outthinking: "The Kurt Fuller."During this week of shooting, Josh Cooke and I spent countless hours in his trailer playing Connect Four for $50 a game. Josh and I were about evenly matched, having a good time, feeling solid about our skills, until Kurt showed up. He watched for a few minutes, and then he asked to play. Thankfully, we didn't play him for money. We played him just for "fun."I use quotation marks because it didn't take us long to realize that the fun was over. For one thing, we learned quickly that Kurt Fuller is th... read more

Big Day, Episode 3

TVGuide.com's celebrity blogs are displayed in the reverse order that they were written, which is so that the reader can watch the author enjoy himself more and more. It would be kind of depressing to see them in the real order, from "Oh, wow! I get a blog! This will be fun!" to "Greta Garbo did not go far enough."That's because it's a lot of pressure to come up with an interesting story each time. Here's a television secret: not every episode of Big Day [Tuesdays at 9 pm/ET, on ABC] provides the sort of exciting behind-the-scenes anecdote that meets the incredibly high standards of a TVGuide.com blog. Sure, every once in a while you'll have to wrestle a sword away from a drunken Josh Cooke before he accomplishes his bellowed intention of driving to the set of The Office and decapitating John Krasinski ("There can only be one! There can only be one!"). But that's only three weeks out of 10. The other seven, you're searching for things to put in the blog. ("Maybe if I set Cooke's tra... read more
