Noah Wyle will be back on TNT this winter in the latest high-adventure installment of the successful Librarian franchise, The Librarian: The Curse of the Judas Chalice. Other returning cast members Bob Newhart and Jane Curtin join newcomers Bruce Davison (X-Men, Knight Rider) and Stana Katic (Heroes) in a new conspiracy that leads Wyle to New Orleans to protect the Judas Chalice from falling into the hands of notorious vampire Prince Vlad Dracul. The first installment in the series became the No. 1-ranked movie on ad-supported cable in 2004, and the sequel placed among the top five cable movie telecasts of 2006. Production began in New Orleans earlier this week, but no firm premiere date has been set. Adam Bryant

Per Variety, Twentieth Century Fox is developing Money Never Sleeps, a Wall Street sequel to again potentially star Oscar winner Michael Douglas, but not involve Oliver Stone as writer or director.... Per the Hollywood Reporter, though Shrek the Third doesn't even hit theaters until the 18th, Deuce Bigelow's Mike Mitchell is already in talks to direct No. 4.... Stana Katic (aka Heroes' wireless gal) is an assassin in Stiletto, an indie thriller also starring Tom Berenger and Michael Biehn.... I had the honor of meeting Adrian Pasdar last week when he came into the office for a visit. Tight-lipped about the show, naturally, our favorite "flying man" was a lot nicer than the closed-off Nathan we watch every week, and he let us in on a few things he's learned since becoming a hero: 1) Masi Oka is super-smart, 2) his 5-year-old son is a big fan of Milo's and 3) the only way to see all his castmates together is during "heroic dinners" they plan, since they don't get to work with each other on every episode. OK, so it's no spoiler on, say, Nathan and Claire joining forces or Milo getting a new haircut, but I'll take it. As fun as it was to see a kicked-back Pasdar amazed by his career's powerful turn things returned to normal when I saw Nathan in his sharp tie and political mindset tonight.
