This week's episode of The Bachelor marks my favorite hour of each season — The Women Tell All special! So get your smack-talk ready and let's get to recapping.
But wait! After Chris Harrison introduces the women, we get a sneak peek of the recent Bachelor Nation reunion in Las Vegas. There's lot of making out, a few faces we haven't seen in a while and a lot of casting possibilities for the next season of Bachelor Pad (Ed, Ryan P and Stacey, to name a few.) We also get a glimpse into a possible rekindling of flames between previous Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky and Frank, who left her season for a girl that he's still with.
When Bachelor host Chris Harrison said Michelle would blow people's minds, he was right, as she found herself the center of the Women Tell All attack. Even Harrison admits she was falling apart, and as much as the show plays to the drama, "sometimes enough is enough." Harrison shares with TVGuide.com why Shawntel never made it into the "hot seat" and why he loves the new Ashley H.
The claws come out on The Bachelor, and Michelle mysteriously wakes up with a black eye she claims appeared overnight. What?
Chantal is the first to get the one-on-one date with Brad this week and they set out in a private helicopter to the ocean. She is terrified upon learning they'll be walking on the sea floor, but she sucks it up and it doesn't take long for Chantal to soak it in and enjoy the moment as the two wander the ocean bottom with smoke monster-looking creatures in their wake. Afterward, the two share their own private villa on the water where Brad asks Chantal if...
As the connections continue to develop on The Bachelor and the first kisses begin to happen, Michelle gets more and more possessive. Plus: One of the girls reveals her extremely emotional past.
Ashley S gets the first one-on-one date this week and she and Brad head off in a convertible to Capitol Records. They go into the recording studio where they must sing "Kiss from a Rose" by Seal. Brad is pretty sure it's going to sound awful and he's right, but they hold hands and are totally into it. "I apologize, Mr. Seal," Brad says after the song. They then walk into a another room and Seal is there to sing his hit for them. I'm actually surprised it took 15 seasons to get him on the show.
The ladies of The Bachelor have moved into their mansion and it's time to start the dates with Brad.
"Use your time wisely," Chris Harrison warns the women. Ashley H. is the lucky winner who receives the very first one-on-one. As she and Brad head off, they venture onto a dark dirt road where it appears they could be starring in a teaser for Law & Order: SVU. But, of course, it's just The Bachelor, and after Brad instructs Ashley to flip a switch, lights come on to reveal they're in an insanely awesome carnival. Thank you, ABC, now I expect my own personal carnival on my next date.
