First Look: Nicholas Sparks Makes His TV Debut With Lifetime's Deliverance Creek

For his first TV venture, superstar romance novelist and screenwriter Nicholas Sparks (The Notebook, A Walk to Remember) saddles up to executive produce a Civil War Western with a feisty female in the crosshairs. The Lifetime movie (and backdoor pilot) Deliverance Creek (airing Saturday, Sept. 13 at 8/7c) stars Lauren Ambrose (Six Feet Under) as widowed mother Belle Gatlin Barlowe, who turns outlaw to protect her family and land from corrupt bankers. read more
