Cheers to Jericho for sending a shout-out to the fans who saved the show. CBS' postapocalyptic drama rose from the ashes of cancellation after devotees inundated the network with thousands of pounds of peanuts (a reference to a line spoken by Skeet Ulrich in last season's finale). So in this year's opener, when Ulrich's character visited a wounded comrade in the hospital, there was a close-up of, yes, peanuts on the patient's bedside table. That's goober-riffic!
