Everyone in Hollywood has a price — even Anne Hathaway.
The actress, currently starring in Rachel Getting Married, was attending the recent Trevor Project's annual Cracked Xmas gala at the Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles and made an impromptu decision to put herself up for auction.
Proceeds raised (including $7,000 for a walk-on role on 30 Rock) benefit the Trevor Project's suicide hotline for gay, lesbian, transgender and questioning youths.

Variety reports Sigourney Weaver will co-produce and star in Prayers for Bobby, about a conservative woman whose gay son takes his own life.The Lifetime movie is based on Leroy Aarons' 1995 book (shop Amazon) that depicts the true story of a family's opposition to their son's homosexuality. Sigourney Weaver — who has stripped down to her skivvies in films such as Alien and Ghostbusters, to name but two — has been tapped to play famed burlesque artist Gypsy Rose Lee in an HBO biopic, Variety reports. Gypsy and Me, to shoot by year's end, will be based on My G-String Mother, a memoir written by the performer's son, Erik Lee Preminger, who by age 12 was serving as her stage manager.... Desperate Housewives' Andrea Bowen will play a popular high-school honor student who contracts HIV in Consequences, a TV-movie for all together now Lifetime. Jennie Garth costars as a teacher who becomes Bowen's confidante.

Per Variety, Good Night and Good Luck's David Strathairn has booked a pair of new gigs: the lead in the fantasy pic The Spiderwick Chronicles, and the role of Matt Damon's latest pursuer in The Bourne Ultimatum.... Sigourney Weaver and Kate Bosworth are in talks to star in The Girl in the Park, about a woman traumatized by the 15-years-ago disappearance of her 3-year-old daughter.
