We always suspected he was a little off his rocker...but who knew he was this creepy and crazy? The late Alfred Hitchcock was the uncontested master of horror and suspense, a director so obsessed with murder and mayhem — much of it aimed at women — that one can't truly analyze his films without a Carl Jung handbook nearby. His greatest works, Rear Window, Vertigo and Psycho among them, still earn raves from critics more than half a century after they were made and his legacy as an artist remains sterling. But at what cost to the female stars who worked for him — the ones famously known as the "Hitchcock Blondes"?
HBO's new movie...
Remember the old X-Files mantra "Trust No One?" One of its producers surely does, and in creating the new Cinemax spy thriller Hunted, Frank Spotnitz makes it clear from the first scenes that you can't always trust your eyes, either.
Where there's hope, there's laughter. And where there's Raising Hope, which returns for a third season tonight on Fox (8/7c), the laughter is of a particularly shameless quality. Take Sabrina's grandmother Nana — please! Actually, as the episode begins, this glam granny has already been taken to the great beyond, her body laid out for the wake in a scenario that almost sounds like a Bones episode: "The Body in the Buffet." (The vain Nana having requested her body be put in the kitchen so people would notice — which Cloris Leachman's unhinged Maw Maw certainly does.)

In light of the fact that many pictures have surfaced in print and on the Internet which has caused myself and my family great embarrassment, I felt it necessary to at least acknowledge publicly that yes, indeed, my wife and I have separated."Getty and his wife, who married in 2000, have four children together.
