Transformers
Look out, planet Earth: Transformers 3 has a tentative arrival date of July 1, 2011.
But don't rush to pre-pre-order tickets just yet. While Paramount secured the release date as an option, it's not an official announcement of the movie's green light, studio insiders tell Variety. A writer has yet to be hired, and there's no word on whether director Michael Bay or stars Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox would return for the franchise's third installment.
In the meantime, fans can still count on mass robotic destruction this summer: Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen opens June 24.
Will you cross your fingers for a third Transformers?

Adrian Grenier and Isabel Lucas by Polk Imaging/WireImage.com
Transformers star Shia LaBeouf's recent car accident may have damaged more than his hand. His costar and passenger in the accident, Isabel Lucas, has split from Entourage's Adrian Grenier. The pair is said to have broken up soon after the after accident. "It wasn't working out," a source told People.com. "Adrian saw her with Shia and that was kind of it the crash, their hanging out." Lucas, 22, had reportedly been dating Grenier, 32, for several months. While LaBeouf underwent hand surgery for injuries related to the car accident, Lucas was treated for bumps and bruises and then released from the hospital. The only good news (ladies, take note) is that now Grenier's back on the market, just in time for a new season of Entourage.
