Shar Jackson and Sue Hennessey by Adam Larkey/ABC
Working on ABC's Ex-Wives Club [Mondays at 9 pm/ET] has been a great way for me to work out some of my own issues as well. Sometimes helping out other folks really gives your mind its own mental makeover. Every single one of the folks we worked with were great, and I have kept in touch with a few. (How can you not?!) When you spend 12 hours in a dentist office with someone, you bond, and after today (just had my wisdom teeth pulled!) I can even commiserate on a whole new level. This week it is Sue and Kurt whose lives were turned upside down by their partners. I think this one was probably my favorite episode. The transformations that these two make blew me away. I dont want to give too much away, but this one really touched close to home on a lot of levels (you'll see!), and the revenge is sweet... and a bit surprising. You know I am always all about the twists and turns in a relationship. One thing that has come from the show that has really surprised me was that on my MySpac...

I am so excited about the June 4 Ex-Wives Club [Mondays at 9 pm/ET, on ABC]! My daughter Tiffany (who's 13 years old now) and I previewed the episode together, and let me tell you how wonderful it was to share huge laughs and also have tears of empathy and joy streaming down our faces at the same time. It is so great to be part of a show that the whole family can enjoy together and get to experience those special moments! This episode in particular is so special to me because Tina, our female participant, and I formed such a huge bond from the very beginning. She is from New York, which happens to be where I spent 15 very important years growing up, and she also is an actress. When I called to tell her she had been picked to be on our show, she cried and said she had watched me on TV since she was a little girl and had always wanted us to meet. Who says there's no such thing as fate? She had seen me go through a lot of joy and pain in the media, and I think she could relate to so muc...

Appearing on this coming Monday's The Dr. Keith Ablow Show, Shar Jackson stands by the man who didn't stand by her and their own two offspring, when asked about Britney Spears' divorce from Kevin Federline. "Kevin is a good guy," says Shar, "and I don't have anything bad to say about him." As for whether K-Fed might actually fight for custody of li'l Sean Preston and newborn what's-his-name, Shar says, "I'm sure he's scared that Britney might take the kids to Louisiana or somewhere, and he might not see them, so probably. He loves his kids." To hear more doses of irony from Shar as well as the insights on Brit's first short-term hubby, Jason Alexander tune in Monday. (Just don't watch while drinking a soda.)
