Paranoid that terrorists will unleash a nuclear attack on Los Angeles, Carl (Hill Harper) gets caught up in a web of frantic, overzealous preparation that puts a cold-war freeze on his relationship with his beautiful wife, Viv (Robinne Lee). Fueling his hysteria is Carl's new pal and unusual ally Tom Arnold (playing himself), who shares Carl's obsessive zeal to prepare for the worst. When his father, King Eurich (Mel Ferrer), fails to return from an expedition to North America, bold Viking prince Thorvald (Lee Majors) and a company of Norse warriors set sail across the cold Atlantic to discover the old man's fate. Befriending a native maiden on the strange new shores, Thorvald discovers that his father has been captured by fearsome Indians who have no intention of letting him go.
