Grey's Anatomy Oh no — it did not end that way! Are you not dying that Meredith and George got together?!? Absolutely the last thing I expected to happen. I thought for sure she was just going to hug him, say, "Thanks, George," and walk away, but then she took his shirt off! I'm sure the people in the next apartment heard me scream "Shut up!!" Then, after thinking about all that Meredith had just gone through, I got over my shock. But you know she's using him out of frustration, and our poor George is just going to get hurt. Answer: Let's see… Amy Jo Johnson has a recurring role in ABC's midseason dramedy What About Brian?, which counts J.J. Abrams among its exec producers. And Amanda Foreman is the only reason to watch the Sept. 23 premiere of NBC's still-born fertility-clinic drama Inconceivable. She plays a brash surrogate mother to two gay dads and she's in full-tilt Meghan mode. God, I miss that show.

Question: A couple of weeks ago you confirmed that producers were considering Scott Speedman for a role on ER (Ask Ausiello 7/15). Can we get an update?Answer: Well, apparently, show runner David Zabel wasn't one of those producers. "We've never spoken about Scott Speedman," he maintains. "I swear to you that name, as far as I know, has never even come up. I don't know anything about Scott Speedman joining the cast and, as far as I know, there's no plan for Scott Speedman to join the cast." Zabel does confirm that a new, male doc will be introduced in the fifth episode, but "the character is actually crafted to be older than what Scott Speedman would play. Just before filming X-Men 2, James Marsden — otherwise known as "Cyclops" — shot an unusual little indie film called The 24th Day. Currently in theaters, it stars Felicity's Scott Speedman as a vengeful man who kidnaps his former one-night stand. Speedman's character blames Marsden's for infecting him with HIV — and threatens to kill him if his suspicion is proved true. Critics have generally trashed Day, though more due to its controversial premise than the actors themselves. Still, we have to ask: What made these guys stick their necks out?
"Neither of us had really gotten the opportunity to dig in and do something intense," Marsden tells TV Guide Online. "Even if it was in an independent film that maybe no one would ever see, we both had that hunger to show that we are capable of doing more than just Felicity or Ally McBeal or X-Men. The roles called for this really raw intensity."
