"It's going to be a very different Five-0," executive producer Peter M. Lenkov says of the new season, which premieres Monday at 10/9c on CBS. "The most important thing is that they need to get back together. These people need each other. It's going to be fun seeing them put the pieces back together."
Helping to kick-start that effort is Lt. Cmdr. Joe White (Lost's Terry O'Quinn), who comes to Hawaii on a mission to exonerate McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin). "He was a mentor. He was his commanding officer," Lenkov says. "Given the kind of character that McGarrett is, imagine the guy who trained him." Adds O'Loughlin...

Question: I have a question about the new season, or rather last season, of Rescue Me. Do you think that the "comedy" writing that they incorporate into the show seems to take away from critical acclaim that shows like The Shield and Justified get? The dramatic parts this year have really felt like they weren't even acting, specifically when Sheila finds Tommy snooping for the letter, and the job Maura Tierney did was spectacular. Granted, it seems more like therapy then acting. What do you think the show's legacy will be? — Glenn
Many TV dramas create mysteries in their freshmen seasons that take years to resolve. The producers of CBS' Hawaii Five-0 are taking a slightly different approach.

Alex O'Loughlin and Larisa Oleynik
Sorry, 'shippers, but love isn't on the luau menu for Jenna and Danno ... yet.
With the return of Larisa Oleynik's character Jenna Kaye to Hawaii Five-0 on Monday at 10/9c on CBS, fans are wondering if some flattering comments Detective Danny "Danno" Williams (Scott Caan) made about her could mean a romance in the making when they meet again. "I don't think so," Oleynik tells TVGuide.com. "I think Danno is a flirt but I think ultimately he...

Daniel Dae Kim
Hawaii Five-0's Daniel Dae Kim live-tweeted Monday's Chin-centric episode, wrapping up CBS Tweet Week on a fun note.

Alex O'Loughlin and Larisa Oleynik
Could Larisa Oleynik's recurring guest spot on Hawaii Five-0 mean a new love interest for Alex O'Loughlin's Steve McGarrett?
"Gosh, that's certainly been the question on all of my single friends' minds," Oleynik tells TVGuide.com. The former Secret World of Alex Mack star begins her multiple-episode run on the CBS drama on Monday playing Jenna Kaye, a CIA agent visiting from Langley, Va. "The thing is when it comes to romance with one of the leads, I kind of hope not. I really like all of their romantic story lines so far. So I don't know if it's in the cards, but listen, I won't complain if it is."
