Jim goes undercover as a tabloid reporter on suspicions that The National Investigator is getting its stories from the private files of Richard Hagens, a doctor whose clientele includes several celebrities.

Jim continues to search for the reason why Rocky's friend T.T. Flowers was involuntarily committed to a nursing home. When Jim springs T.T. from the facility, the old man hightails it to his property, which greedy developers plan to snatch.

Rocky is distraught when his friend T.T. Flowers is declared incompetent and committed to a nursing home against his will. Jim offers his services and questions Flowers's daughter and son-in-law, who are behind the move. Strother Martin guest stars.
