So is Wilson definitely going to die on House? — Amanda
ADAM: Well, the promos for next week's episode don't paint a pretty picture, but let's try to stay positive. (His best friend is a pretty good doctor, after all!) I suspect that Wilson will stick around at least through the series finale. But it does raise the question: Can House exist without Wilson? "For better or for worse, they are bound together," Hugh Laurie says. "They share a way of looking at the world, and I think they need each other." But does that "need" portend a happy ending? "I think the audience will be happy, not because House has learned some life lessons — that's not what he's about," Laurie says. "I think people will be happy for him. The fact that he's still got a 'mud in your eye, to hell with you all' attitude, I sort of love." So let's keep the sackcloth and ashes under wraps for now, OK?
Please tell me you have more info on the big event in the Grey's Anatomy finale! — Sammy

The team from ABC's Good Morning America sent a bucket of golf balls to Matt Lauer to congratulate him on his new deal to remain at NBC's Today. But the game for ratings leadership will only get more intense.

Katie Couric and Josh Elliott
One lesson learned in this wearying week of morning-show warfare: Some people should never give up their dream day job. Which is why it was so gratifying for the week to end with the announcement that Today's Matt Lauer was staying put for years to come. I'd like to think he saw the future — or maybe Today's future — staring at him on Wednesday, when he sat across from...

Sarah Palin, Julianne Moore
Move over, Tina Fey: Julianne Moore's portrayal of Sarah Palin in HBO's Game Chance was uncanny.
How Did Julianne Moore Study Up on Sarah Palin? By Watching Her Reality Series!
Game Change depicted the 2008 GOP vice presidential candidate as a woman who didn't take kindly to every news outlet pointing out her inadequacies so it should come as no surprise that she isn't a fan of the film.
The real question is:

Jonah Hill, Saturday Night Live
In case you hadn't heard, Jonah Hill was nominated for an Academy Award for Moneyball and — spoiler alert! — lost to Christopher Plummer. Luckily, it doesn't look like the loss has gone to his head at all, but we can't say the same about the nomination itself.
In a behind-the-scenes video showing Hill's week at Saturday Night Live, Hill seemed to have a bit of an ego problem, as evidenced by his small glasses and large glasses. However, the real laughs came once Hill realized the error of his ways, thanks to a visit from two-time Academy Award winner Tom Hanks. Hanks stopped by to show off his statues (dubbed "Philly" and "Forest") and to...

Game Change
"It wasn't a campaign. It was a bad reality show," concludes political operative Steve Schmidt (a forceful Woody Harrelson) toward the end of HBO's controversy-stirring Game Change (Saturday, 9/8c), a searing, sizzlingly well acted docudrama about the decision "to create a dynamic moment" in the 2008 presidential run of John McCain (a salty but sanguine Ed Harris) by selecting "a game-changing pick" in fellow maverick Sarah Palin, "the best actress in American politics."
