With the WGA strike still going strong, most prime-time favorites are entrenched in repeats. Lucky for us, ABC still has three more original episodes of Brothers & Sisters to broadcast before the Walker clan walks off into the night. As usual, there will be plenty of surprises when the show returns with fresh fare on Jan. 13. "Now that almost the entire family knows about Tommy's affair, it is only a matter of time before Julia will find out," says Sarah Jane Morris, who plays the two-timing winemaker's wife. "Julia will have some secrets of her own, though!" While those secrets may not come to fruition until the writers resume work again, there will be plenty of big reveals before then. Brothers & Sisters' Julia may eventually find she has a cheating husband on her hands, but her troubles pale in comparison to Sarah Jane Morris' escapades as an upcoming Law & Order: Criminal Intent guest star."My character, Marla, is married to a wealthy Park Ave. architect," previews the actress, whose appearance on the crime drama is slate for early 2008. "When a young Wall Street-type man is murdered in Central Park, Marla and her very uppercrust, demanding mother-in-law are questioned and eventually come under suspicion because they were the last to see the victim."Wondering what happens next? "When several other murders are discovered to be committed by the same person, both Marla and her mother-in-law have some explaining to do!" teases Morris. Spoiler alert! Big changes are brewing for the Walkers during May sweeps. In an upcoming Brothers & Sisters episode, Julia will go into early labor, which results in “scary complications” for her unborn twins. Luckily, newlywed Sarah Jane Morris, who plays Tommy Walker’s (Balthazar Getty) pregnant wife, received lots of helpful advice from real-life mother of three Sally Field during her labor scenes.“She was right there coaching me through it, holding my hand and rubbing my back,” says Morris, who recently celebrated her first wedding anniversary with Rooney drummer Ned Brower. Since she’s never given birth herself, the actress was grateful that Field, who plays her on-screen mother-in-law, decided to tell her “what contractions are like.” “Sally Field is my hero!” raves Morris.
